Update 9/6/09:
The HSE report regarding future services at Bantry Hospital was released today. Our understanding of the statement by Professor John Higgins is the welcome assurance that 24 hour acute services at BGH are to be retained. Furthermore, we also understand there is no other inherent threat to the health and safety of the people of the region in the HSEs overall plans for Bantry Hospital.
