About West Cork Today...
We are a voluntary group that originally joined forces to protest against the loss of the UTV C103 West Cork Today programme. The show was dropped in 2009 leading to a dilution in coverage of community news for West Cork, and the county as a whole.
We are now expanding the functionality of this site to give the community other ways to voice our concerns about important local issues. We also invite campaign organisers to contact us if you would like to enquire about utilising westcorktoday.com in support of a specific campaign.
